Summer's Coming

I can feel the heat of the Summer coming, especially since our A/C is broken. Basically to take the edge off we have fans. There are cieling fans in each major room, but we also have a window fan and a stand up fan now. We transfer the stand up and the window fan to whatever room it is we will be using. We also have a few new animal members to our family. First we got Kenzie, she is a two year old Golden Retriever/Border Collie. She is very beautiful! We also have two new ferrets, Ferrah the female and Bear the male. I believe they are brother and sister. They came with a four floored cage which is much bigger than the one Itachi had. So he is much happier now. He has ferret friends and a bigger cage.

I'm still going to therapy from the car accident that happened last year in March. Hopefully I will be re-testing soon, so they can determine if I am still making progress or if I am at a stand still. If I am at a stand still then we should start the lawsuit going. Well that is the update for our family...

New Stuff

Well first of all I started going back to my therapy at Mind Works after the Holidays were over. Secondly here soon we will be getting a new puppy. It's a White German Shepherd, a boy. We think we have him picked out, but not completely sure.

I am also a part of a new RPG, called Louisville.It's pretty good. At the moment though there isn't many people on it. Just me with two characters, Sebastian with two, Hannah with one and her friend who is our first Slayer, and Sebastians friend who plays Chloe the werewolf.
What a set huh?

Priori Incantatem

Well here is another update, the kittens are now seven weeks old. Almost ready to go to new homes. I have been going to my Neuro-feedback therapy for two weeks now. Not sure what it is really doing, but oh well. I have been part of a new Rpg website called Priori Incantatem, it's a Harry Potter forum rpg.

He has only posted once, when he has reached about 20 posts I will be able to have another character which will be his daughter Keira.

As far as food goes, I made some really good Deviled Eggs last night. They turned out great!

Movie watching..

Well today is August the 12th, and what a day it has been. I held the kittens, that are now in their third week of growth. Eyes and ears are completely open, they respond to pets, and they have started to walk with their back legs. Still wobbly, but with time it will get better.

I don't know if I have any followers, or if anyone has even looked at my blog. If you have then I thank you for showing interest in the life of some random stranger. Today I went to see the movie Julie & Julia with my Grandmother. We both thuroghly enjoyed it! I give it two thumbs up and a toe! Lol.

I realized through watching the movie, how much I like to cook myself. I remember telling my Grandmother that after watching that movie I wanted a cook book of my own. My birthday is coming up, I will be 25. I know old. *Sigh*

So hopefully I will get one then, I would love to be able to experience what Julie went through. The joy of making something from scratch, that tastes great! Even better to know that the cook book you are using is from your favorite cook. Whether it be Julia Child, Alton Brown, or Rachel Ray.

Who oever it is that you admire, I say try to emulate them. Within reason ofcourse. With that said, I leave you to ponder who it is you admire and if they are a chef or cook, then Bon Apetite!

I'm a Grandmother!

Well as of the 24th of July, 2009. My cat Kaia had her kittens, there were four of them. I was there to help with the first three, but then had to go to bed before the fourth was born. When I woke up the next morning I went to check on her and there she was the fourth.

You see out of the four only one is a boy, he is one of a set of twins. Kaia had been a great mom, looking after them when we check on her. Making sure to nurse them, and clean them. They are so cute! You can already see their coloring, the twins ofcourse look alike. Then there is a lighter colored one with longer hair, she looks like her daddy Kaz. The last one to be born is really dark and almost looks like her mom. Her mom is a short hair, with black and white coloring.

I will be adding some pics hopefully, and also will be updating on their growth and socialization progress.

First One

Well let's see, my name is Lacey. I go by Keira on most of my emails and things. So the name stuck and that is the blog name too. Today has been a good day, I talked with my Aunt who has a blog as well. Her's is Marinesramblings.blogspot.com. Check it out if you want.

As this is my blog I get to talk about pretty much whatever I want, so here goes. I belong to a online forum rpg called Slayers. It is based off of the Buffyverse. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv show universe that the creator Joss Whedon has created.

Anyways the rpg is centralized around Faith and her new council. Since the old one was blown up. It takes place in Cleveland Ohio of all places near the Hellmouth. A very evil thing, that attracts all manner of evil to it. Like demons, vampires, and other nasty beasties. The Slayers, kill the demons, vampires, and beasties. Long live humanity, only problem is more keep comeing. So that is why the Slayers have help, from witches, mutants, and other good people with abilities. I have two character's that are witches and both are good. One is Kyra a Japanese-American from Florida and the other is Holly from California. Holly is special because one of her powers manifested the moment she was born. She is able to sense and manipulate people's energies. Which is what people are made of, energy. So she could either heal a person's energy and soul or deal some major damage. She chooses the healing.

Well I think I have talked enough about the fantasy stuff. Now about me, I am 24 almost 25. I have 17 pets, whoa right? Well let me count em out and you will understand. I have 3 dogs, 3 cats (one is pregnant), 7 gerbils (all male), 3 toads, and a ferret. So most of the pets are pretty easy to care for. It's the dogs that make you tired.
